SLS Capabilities
SLA Capabilities | Data |
---|---|
Maximum build dimensions | Dimensions are unlimited as components may be composed of several sub-parts. The maximum build envelope is 158 x 158 x 300 mm |
Standard accuracy | ±0.3% (with a lower limit on ±0.3 mm) |
Layer thickness | 0.12 mm |
Minimum wall thickness | 1 mm, but living hinges are possible at 0.3 mm |
Surface structure | Unfinished parts typically have a grainy surface but various post-production finishes are possible. |
Available materials for SLS

Nylon PA 11 Black is compatible with selective laser sintering. It is an eco-friendly polyamide with great mechanical properties, making it ideal for functional parts such as gears, drone components and technical parts in high-stress environments.
KEY CHARACTERISTICS
- Strong, general-purpose material printed without a support structure.
- High strength and stiffness.
- High chemical, mechanical, and thermal resistance.
- Max part dimensions: 158 x 158 x 300 mm.
Post-Processing

Part Extraction
After cooling, the SLS print's unsintered powder falls off when touched, revealing the finished part, while the fan filters dispersed powder.

Powder Recovery
Recover and reuse any unsintered powder to improve resource utilization.

Media Blasting
After basic cleaning, use media blasting to completely remove powder from SLS parts, especially effective for hard-to-reach negative features.
Finishing for SLS

- Spray painting in 3D printing is used to enhance the aesthetic and qualities of 3D printed part. It applies a fine mist of paint using a spray gun or aerosol can.
- Spray painting provides a uniform and smooth finish and a wide range of color options based on Pantone color.
- Spray painting helps hide layer lines and minor imperfections efficiently and add protective layers.
